Best lump I\'ve ever used on the BGE!!
My bro-in-law was kind enough to take me by the BBQGUYS store in Baton Rouge on a recent trip. I was very excited to see they carried the Ozark Oak lump, as I had been wanting to try it based on the many positive reviews I had read. We used this lump to cook two 5+ lb. butts and the results were nothing short of excellent. Cooked the butts to 195 internal temp with the BGE set at 225 degrees...total cook time was around 14 hours. After the cook, the firebox was still more than half full with the largest pieces of lump still intact. This stuff is awesome and I will now be ordering online from BBQGUYS as long as they carry the brand. BTW, their showroom in Baton Rouge is very impressive and worth a visit if you're ever in in the area.
